Over the last few years, the Forum has endeavored to embed racial equity intentionally and explicitly, both internally with the organization, and externally through programming and resources to PSO members.
Among these resources provided to member PSOs is Forum’s Racial Equity Organizational Capacity Assessment which was launched in 2019 and is now disseminated to members bi-annually. To complement the learnings from the Racial Equity Organizational Capacity Assessment, the Forum partnered with Community Centered Evaluation and Research (CCER) to uplift and share PSO members’ racial equity learning journeys through the development of in-depth case stories. All four PSO case stories will be released to Forum members in mid-October.
Join us for a two-part series of conversations with representatives from Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP), Northern California Grantmakers (NCG), PEAK Grantmaking, and Wisconsin Philanthropy Network as they reflect on their respective racial equity journeys. Deborah Aubert Thomas, CEO of Philanthropy Ohio and Forum Racial Equity Committee Chair, will moderate both discussions.
